  The worst bit of Brown nosing?

  just been responding to another thread...it got me thinking.... when i was reaching out ???!!!?

  about 10 years ago,i (along with other young pioneers) would always make a bee-line for the co when he called.saturday morning,and i wanted to impress him loads,but didnt actually want to do service with him...been doing that all week...cripes!.

  i used to take him on "rv,s" the very polar ends of the territory and make up the calls!

  Boy oh Boy...why...he was only a man!

  ps worked tho,i was appointed a Ms for being a "serious minded young Man who took ministry seriously"!!

  yep...all i did for show in the last few years was turn up for Meetings and do 2 or maybe even 3 Hours door knocking a Month.2 Years ago,i very nearly started a Study (the Horror!) but good ol, CO came with me and with his arrogant,know everything attitude ,put the Kaybosh on it!! Good work Mr CO!

  My happily married parents!

  yeah, the title is bullshit.

  this past weekend was interesting.

  on friday, my mother took me and my wife out to celebrate her 26th wedding anniversary.

  Still scared!!

  i have completely moved away from the wt teachings,i know they are wrong and i will live to old age (hopefully!

  )and then die of old age...but every now and again ,i feel a terrifying sense of dread (truly terrifying ),that armageddon may just happen ,complete with strange planetary phenomena etc....oh well i guess thats the 30 years of constant,never ending doom and gloom,death and destruction starting from age 3.!..being an english chap,i tend to dismiss therapy etc,but im having second thoughts..... im probably not alone feeling like this?.

  Lyin eyes:yes,the dreams are the worst i must confess! Im glad you are over it now tho.

  valis:Glastonbery rocks!But i didnt say that when i couldnt get a ticket for the festival this Year!Glad you enjoyed your visit.

  It is bizarre experiencing these feelings for the simple reason that i know it will NEVER happen!I get quite angry thinking about it really..the teachings never leave you really.Ive been out Physically for over a Year,but in my heart since 1995 and the ridiculous new generation teaching..i mean..how ridiculous was that!!??!!

  Think i should calm down now tho . Lol......its Tuesday Night and instead of being bored rigid at a book Group,im off to the Pub later to down a few London Prides!

  Do JWs Marry At Too Young of an Age???

  most of the witnesses that marry are in their early 20's that i know of.

  they have zippo experience in anything except how to hide pimples.

  from what you have seen, are most witnesses encouraged to get married---just so that they don't sin?

  I will be very blunt...i was married at 20 because i wanted sex...so did my "hottie" (ha ha love the Americans!) Wife who was 19...had a great year of constant er,sha****g then realized we bored the pants off each other (no pun etc....)relationship went rapidly down hill...split a few years later.

  Do Jw,s marry at too young of an Age???

  Interesting..but i can remember spending every Tuesday Night for 18 months studying in depth the Greatest Man who ever lived Book...then again 2 years after......then again a few years after that

  I cant agree, JW,s do put relevance on Jesus Christ,the primary study books:- live forever,knowledge etc place great emphasis on Him.

  Lostreality..Massive Attack are ,er,massive in Uk.

  Ever seen the Film Vanilla sky anyone?The band who perform most of the Music in that are a scandinavian band called Sigur Ros..they are quite wonderful!Im hoping to see them some time.Apparently Tom cruises fave Band.

  Missing Old Friends

  even though you have left the faith and after reading crisis if conscience etc and you konw it is not the truth and would never go back do you still misss some of your friends in there.

  i was in it for 42 years from birth and it still upsets me that my lifelong fiends have vanished.

  we are making new friends, but i actually liked a lot of these people.

  The majority,no i dont miss at all,but i have left 1 very,very close friend behind.Even though im only faded,i never see him though he has said i would be welcome round his anytime!But,i know it would involve constant ear bashing from him to come back..cant just be Mates eh. Thats yet another by-product of totally 100% conditional love.

  Also,it distresses me seeing this Great bloke wasting time knocking on doors 80 hours a month and sweeping Floors for a living when he is clearly cut out for so much more!!Grrrr
